Well, I've done 24hrs on a bus!
Crossing borders on a night bus is less enjoyable as you can't just sleep through it all.
Can't remember what the ticket from KL to Hat Yai cost me (maybe 150MYR) but the ticket I purchased at Hat Yai to Phuket was 450BHT.
